Simpson Hybrid SFI 38:1 Recertification

ARE YOU DUE for SFI 38:1 recertification?

Devices certified in May 2018 or earlier, were due for SFI 38:1 recertification on June 1, 2023.

Hybrid devices with SFI 38.1 certification only require recertification every 5 years.

Hybrid Devices with both SFI 38.1 AND FIA certification will require SFI recertification every 5 years.

All devices that pass inspection will receive a new SFI 38.1 conformance sticker marked with the inspection date. The recertification will remain valid for 5 years.

Typically the unit will require new tethers and depending on condition new grip material.

Allow 2 – 3 business days for processing at the Melbourne – Mitcham store, excluding any shipping time. (seasonal delays may occur)

Avoid extreme hot or cold environments and petroleum products or other corrosives. These can affect even the strongest composite materials and resins.
Protect your head restraint by storing out of direct sunlight.
Hybrid Devices should be cleaned with warm soapy water.
